Trucking 101 Course

Trucking 101 is a DOT-informed, hands-on course from Legacy Logistics 247 that turns industry basics into real, billable skills. We cover end-to-end dispatch operations—industry terminology, compliance readiness, live-style dispatch workflows, load-board sourcing and booking, rate strategy, and negotiation with brokers/shippers—so you understand how a load moves from quote to POD. You’ll also receive working templates such as,

  • dispatcher/carrier contracts
  • onboarding packets
  • and rate confirmations

Plus step-by-step billing/invoicing guidance so you know exactly how you get paid. 

We go beyond theory with practical checklists, business and tax fundamentals for new dispatchers, O/O's, and small fleets, and day-to-day compliance tips that keep trucks moving and cash flowing. We do travel to host on-site classes at your location, and for in-person cohorts we can offer virtual participation as an option (hybrid) when appropriate.
